Responsibilities
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance in accordance with Honda and dealership standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns with accuracy and efficiency
- Complete multipoint inspections and clearly identify additional service needs
- Execute repairs including brakes, suspension, engine work, and general service
- Road test vehicles to ensure quality and safety of all completed work
- Accurately document repair orders, diagnostics, and labor time
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members to support a seamless customer experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety focused work environment
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training and development to advance technical skills and certifications
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of automotive technician experience in a dealership or high volume shop
- ASE certification or actively working toward certification
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving ability across multiple vehicle systems
- Proven ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with brakes, suspension, engine repair, and maintenance services
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, team oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Own basic set of tools required to perform the job
