Job Summary about Program Manager(PM):

We are looking for a talented and ambitious person to join our team in Seoul, Korea, to cover the APAC region.

This is a vital role where the Program Manager serves as the key manager and central point of contact, acting as the primary liaison between Trimble's R&D, Sales, and especially customers, to drive the successful integration and delivery of our precise positioning products.

The PM will focus on products within the Trimble precise positioning footprint, including Trimble RTX, RTX fast, and ProPoint Go, among others, across the crucial Automotive and IoT business segments. Your primary responsibility is to lead the timeline and ensure the smooth execution of projects and opportunities, guaranteeing that all deliverables are satisfying the customer.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Serve as the key manager and primary liaison between Trimble's R&D, Sales teams, and external customers across the APAC region;

  • Drive program execution and business engagement specifically for Automotive and IoT customers leveraging Trimble's precise positioning technology;

  • Lead the timeline and program schedule for multiple customer projects, ensuring all phases—from Proof-of-Concept (PoC) to full production deployment—are managed effectively;

  • Ensure smooth execution of the project lifecycle, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and bottlenecks to maintain forward momentum;

  • Manage customer communication and project progress, orchestrating all critical issues to guarantee project success and customer satisfaction with all deliverables;

  • Present Trimble’s products, solutions, and services, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the precise positioning portfolio including Trimble RTX, RTX fast, and ProPoint Go;

  • Gather customer requirements and project schedules, analyzing key milestones from Trimble's perspective, particularly within the Automotive and IoT sectors;

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to complete the work required by Trimble and customers;

  • Documentation when Trimble or customers ask for responses in a written format.

Requirement:

  • Integrity and work ethics;

  • Mandatory: Fluency in English and Korean (verbal and written) for working with the global team and APAC customers;

  • Good Chinese, or Japanese (verbal and written) skills is considered a strong asset and highly beneficial for engaging with key regional customers;

  • Strong technical aptitude and rigorous thinking to learn new technologies and to understand customer’s business purpose;

  • Understanding of embedded system design and software development processes (especially helpful if candidate has experiences in automotive development cycles like NPI);

  • Experiences in process-oriented technical support (Preferred: automotive, IoT, or technology experiences);

  • Professional presentation skills to deliver technical subjects in front of customers;

  • Ability to work with a remote line manager and thrive in high-pressure situations;

  • Video call management skills;

  • Domestic and overseas travel (expected to support APAC customers).

Qualifications:

  • Educational backgrounds in engineering schools or work experiences at software and electrical hardware (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, etc.);

  • 5–10 years experiences at project or program management roles;

  • Professional presentation skills in English;

  • Definitely a plus if the PM candidate has a PMP certificate.
