As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.  

 

 

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequences, and processes for automated & Robotic systems used in the manufacture or assembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the integration of automation & robotic solutions into new product launches. Initiates, releases, approves, and implements engineering change orders to support design engineering and production with automated & robotic processes for new and existing products.
  • Estimates automation & robotics project costs, determines cycle time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling, robotics, and control system requirements for new or existing production lines.
  • Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of automation & robotics operations and performance metrics.
  • Provides technical support for automated equipment troubleshooting, repair, and optimization, collaborating closely with process engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in applying DFx principles to reduce automation costs and improve system reliability and product quality.
  • Develops automation & robotics design methods and parameters, project methodologies, and proposals. Serves as a liaison between operations and design engineering to implement the most feasible automation solutions.
  • Develops and validates test procedures for automated & robotics systems, including defining test specifications and strategies. Collaborates with test engineering to design and develop test fixtures and automated test setups.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 4-7 years of experience

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
