Position Responsibilities:
Build, maintain and implement automated regression and performance test scripts using webdriver.io (JavaScript framework) , X-ray, Postman.
Review and translate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to product owners and developers.
Analyze automation results and investigate failures.
Design detailed and comprehensive test plans and cases.
Perform manual functional and regression testing where automation is not applicable.
Identify test metrics for product quality and product reporting.
Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities & defect frequency first time pass rate.
Keep up to date on the latest test software and frameworks.
Drive software development process to quality-centric methodologies.
Identify Quality Assurance process bottlenecks and design and implement solutions.
Control, update and distribute new and revised quality standards and technical changes.
Prepare and deliver quality audit reports.
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience in developing automation test scripts with JavaScript (for e.g. webdriver.io, cypress, playwright or other frameworks that can use JavaScript).
Experience with manual and automation testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in different testing techniques (i.e. UI testing, automated testing, behaviour driven testing).
Experience writing broad test cases.
Ability to identify standard processes and where they should be applied (ex. risk-based testing).
Familiarity with specification-based and code-based testing practices.
JIRA.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,100.00 CAD - $136,100.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
