As our next Automation Process Co-op Student, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting process development and automation initiatives within our Global Automation and Assembly (GAA) facility. Your hands-on approach and technical knowledge will help us design, validate, and implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing
Ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and all Johnson Electric policies.
Support the preparation of concept designs for new processes.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams on technical activities.
Create process engineering documentation and requirements for new equipment.
Assist in Proof of Concept creation and validation.
Perform tasks independently while working closely with team members.
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a technical degree or diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
Basic competency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with hand tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong ability to use Microsoft Office software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail, self-motivated, and committed to meeting deadlines.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
