What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 all Johnson Electric policies and any other industry standards in all activities

• Support the preparation of concept design of the processes.

• Consult and collaborate with personnel in various engineering and design activities.

• Creating process engineering documentation and requirements for new equipment

• Undertake and successfully complete basic activities supporting Proof of Concept creation and validation.

• Perform tasks independently while working closely with individual team member

What We’re Looking For:

• Working toward a technical degree or diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering

• Basic competency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD

• Basic competency with hand tools

• Experience in a similar previous co-op considered an asset.

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail

• Independent and self-motivated

• Hands-on experience is required.

• Committed to meeting deadline requirements

• Willing and able to multi-task and change priorities based on organizational needs

• Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Software

• Troubleshooting skills

• Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
