As an automation engineer on our team, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to deliver complete end-to-end solutions to your clients. Using your engineering experience, you’ll help analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll strengthen your skills as you master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements.

You Have:
1+ years of experience working on software development teams
1+ years of experience with scripting or programming languages, including Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, C#, or Java
1+ years of experience with version control systems
Experience with system automation via PowerShell, Ansible, or Bash
Experience with deploying applications and CI/CD tools, including GitLab
Experience with application containerization
Knowledge of programming fundamentals, concepts, and language mechanics
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+ Certification, within 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Containers, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
