We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer to support automation and control systems in our state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and working hands-on in a production environment.
You will assist in the design, programming, and troubleshooting of automated systems that help streamline production processes, ensure product quality, and maintain operational efficiency. You’ll gain exposure to various technologies including PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and data acquisition platforms.
Assist with programming, testing, and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and basic automation systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated production equipment.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve minor automation issues and improve equipment uptime.
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
Help maintain documentation of control systems, wiring diagrams, and operational procedures.
Participate in process improvement and automation upgrade projects.
Learn and apply industry standards for safety, quality, and electronic manufacturing best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), sensors, and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly, testing) is a plus.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
