Your Opportunity:
As a 3rd Shift Automation & Controls Technician I/II for Greenheck Group you will be responsible for providing advanced level of expertise related to the highly technical production equipment, electrical controls, and lasers that enable us to be a worldwide leader in our industry. To support operations, the Automation and Controls Team provides round-the-clock service. The team occasionally works overtime and is responsive to unforeseen situations which may cause a change in schedule.
What you’ll be doing as a Level I:
Troubleshooting:
Basic electrical troubleshooting of circuits and electromechanical systems
Troubleshoot basic electric controls for hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot basic system operations and perform calibrations
Perform basic laser application checks and resolve basic cutting issues
Safety:
Remains up to date of all manufacturing safety practices and compliance items.
General:
Respond to production and maintenance requests within the scope of training an experience
Follow up with work done to ensure proper operation and repairs
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Participate in maintaining 5S activities for area
Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
Occasional on call responsibilities on an as-needed basis
Occasional planned domestic travel for training, support, and preventative maintenance tasks
Occasionally participate in GPS events and other continuous improvement activities
Communication:
Maintain a professional line of verbal communication to stakeholders and team members
Communicate important changes and work done
Document work done in CMMS and critical work done in shift reports
Document asset changes in electronics and hard copy asset documents
Report any complications or issues to A&C technical lead or immediate supervisor
Projects:
Manage basic project work
Assist team with complex projects
Administrative:
Submit part requests and occasionally order parts and tools
Assist OEM technical service with on-site support
Document work and time and charge parts used against work orders
What you’ll be doing as a Level II:
Troubleshooting:
Advanced electrical troubleshooting of circuits and electromechanical systems
Assist in troubleshooting advanced hydraulic issues and the associated electrical controls
Advanced system troubleshooting of automated CNC & motion control systems
Advance laser system diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair
Occasionally work independently to resolve chronic asset issues
Safety:
Remains up to date of all manufacturing safety practices and compliance items
General:
Immediate response to all production and maintenance requests
Follow up with work done to ensure proper operation and repairs
Ensure parts and service are being delivered as requested and documentation is completed
Display world class customer service and professionalism
Participate in maintaining 5S activities for area
Complete all preventative maintenance (PMs) tasks assigned
Coordinate PMs with production and mechanics
Make occasional value-adding suggestions to new and existing PMs
Actively participating in the weekend on-call rotation
Able to respond quickly to phone calls and within 2 hours to on-site support
Occasional planned and unplanned travel for training, support, preventative maintenance tasks, and downtime support
Occasionally participate in GPS events and other continuous improvement activities
Communication:
Maintain a professional line of verbal communication with stakeholders and team members
Actively participate in shift hand-offs at the start and end of each shift
Communicate important changes and work done.
Maintain professional written communication with team members and EOMs, plant managers, directors and any other stakeholder
Document work done in CMMS and critical work done in shift reports
Document asset changes in electronics and hard copy asset documents
Make adjustments to schematics in AutoCAD and/or hard copy
Document procedural changes
Report any complications or issues to A&C technical lead or immediate supervisor
Projects:
Independently manage and execute complex projects while following all safety and electrical codes
Order parts, create documentation and ensure proper operation
Administrative:
Specify needed parts, obtain quotes, order and receive parts, return parts, and send parts out for repair
Schedule and coordinate OEM service for assets
Act as the liaison between manufacturing and OEM support
Document work and time and charge parts used against work orders
Use CMMS regularly to research machine history
What you should have:
Level I: 0-2 years of relevant work experience in industrial equipment, power distribution, automation in a manufacturing environment required.
Level II: 2-4 years of relevant work experience in industrial equipment, power distribution, automation in a manufacturing environment required.
2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field or equivalent years of job experience required.

Light engineering

PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS for a Level II:
Allen Bradley 500, 5000 platform programming training
AutoCAD Electrical
Project Management skills
Troubleshooting skills
Full awareness and understanding of all electrical hazards and mitigation techniques. May encounter pp to 600V nominal, CAT 4 and 15,000V resonator hazards on the job.
OEM equipment training
A few things you should know:
Travel is required 10-25% of time.
Will work on-site in Tulsa, OK.
Off Shift will receive a $2.00 an hour shift premium pay.

The starting base pay range for this position is $32.48/hour - $44.53/hour and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
