Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Personnel/Modified Direct Hire Authority. Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for assisting in planning and performing various audit, inspection, examination, and evaluation assignments.
  • You will plan and perform various performance and financial audit and evaluation assignments or audit and attestation engagement assignments.
  • You will Identify, analyze, and research accounting and auditing issues.
  • You will participate in meetings with high level officials to brief on findings, explain the significance of conclusions, and justify recommendations. Performs other similar duties as assigned.

Qualifications: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as; 1. Knowledge of concepts and practices of accounting and auditing and financial management. 2. Conducting examinations that require an integrated analysis of complex accounting systems and financing over a broad range of industry occupations. 3. Serving as senior expert and consultant to top agency management officials to advise on integrating the financial and budget systems. 4. Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics operations.
