What We Need:

Our NYC headquarters includes several spaces that can be used to create immersive experiences for our clients, partners and employees. The Audio Video Engineer will be responsible for the technology that has been integrated into these spaces for live events, conferences and ongoing branding. This includes managing and maintaining standard and custom-built systems that deliver audio and video content across our multi-level performance space and throughout the entire facility. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and business partners to create experiences that leverage this technology and space.

                                                                             

What You'll Do:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company branding is properly displayed and heard throughout the offices and event spaces. Coordinate with the internal design team to regularly update content.
  • Work closely with event planners and other stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and ensure a successful event.
  • Set up and run audio console and video switcher for live events. Tear down and store equipment at end of event. Setups may be as simple as a microphone and PowerPoint slides or as complex as a concert with multiple microphones, monitors, instruments and speakers. 
  • Load event-specific content on various playback devices and route it to the proper outputs.
  • Manage, maintain and setup additional event equipment as needed, including but not limited to portable video displays, ancillary lighting, DJ console and other technical gear.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure all equipment functions properly, including live event spaces and conference rooms
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in real time.
  • Maintain AV systems and equipment, including updating process documentation.

                                                                             

What You'll Need:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience and knowledge of corporate Audio-Visual Engineering with a variety of equipment, including, but not limited to, audio and visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, mixing boards, custom control systems, projectors, internal video and conference room equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

  • Knowledge and comfort with basic editing of video, audio and still image content
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • CTS, Dante, QSYS are a plus
  • Working knowledge of Apple and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of audio, video and image editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communications skills to interact with clients, internal teams and other stakeholders
  • Possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication. 
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and proactively develop and provide solutions accordingly.
  • Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who continually looks for opportunities to be engaged with the business and grow.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
