Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote. 

The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance to the company on a wide range of legal matters. Your focus may be on supporting litigation activity, contract development, and managing legal risks. You will work closely with internal teams to provide strategic legal advice that aligns with business objectives. Additionally, you will work to handle claims and disputes, assist patent development and registration, and help ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

A Day in the Life...

• ​​Responsible for a variety of legal projects, including contract review and negotiation, risk analysis for business initiatives, research and advice in areas of the law impacting a global consumer packaged goods company and agricultural cooperative.​ ​​• Works collaboratively with and provides legal advice to cross-functional teams within the company on diverse topics, including business transactions, litigation and other disputes, labor/employment matters, and compliance with applicable laws.​ • ​​Support litigation activity, in particular related to risk around class actions, product claims, contract disputes, employment claims, and other business disputes. ​​• Work as a legal advisor to a variety of business teams, which may include food quality and safety, R&D, consumer affairs, supply chain, operations, procurement, tech (including infosec and data privacy), grower relations, labor, employment and corporate compliance.​ • ​​Manage the review, evaluation, development, prosecution, maintenance and defense of patents and patent applications, as well as assist cross-functional teams in evaluating protection of inventions and other intellectual property as a trade secrets or patents.

Juris Doctor (Required)

Annual Salary:

$116,300 - $159,940
