REQ6400 Attendant, Spa, Pool & Gym (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Attendant, Spa, Pool & Fitness is responsible for the cleaning of assigned areas and replenishing all the amenities in the Spa and providing services for Spa members, and guests within the property as assigned in accordance with Company service standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean assigned area in accordance with established checklists and standards in an efficient and thorough manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Spa facilities including the equipment maintenance and restocking of amenities.
  • Be able to walk guests and introduce the facilities and the “How to use” of each spa equipment or the pool facilities.
  • Adhere and follow to all security and maintenance procedures and practices including reporting any unusual or suspicious incidents, hazards or people, complaints and missing or damaged items in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere and follow the company’s health & safety requirements.
  • Actively participate in health & safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized and the health & safety of all employees is valued.
  • Communicate with fellow team members and departments to proactively service guests.
  • Ensure the standards are maintained and guests’ requirements are satisfied.
  • Where appropriate, maintain all public, common and heart of house in the Spa areas clean and free of risks including using appropriate cautionary signage to alert guests and fellow team members of potential risks as required.
  • Perform preparation and cleaning duties for opening and closing of the Spa area (including Spa common area, Treatment Rooms, Salon, Wet Spa and / or Pool & Gym areas).
  • Provide turn-around service for treatment rooms in accordance with established procedures and practices.
  • Count and monitor spa daily laundry.
  • Assist in packing / unpacking stock / stock count.
  • Assist in spa promotions.
  • Collect and send linen to Linen Room and to keep record for Spa, Pool & Gym.
  • Ensure that confidentiality and / or discretion is maintained at all times regarding to guests information and activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to the superiors.

Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Experience (please indicate minimum required and preferred experiences)

  • No previous experience is required.

Education (please indicate minimum and preferred academic requirements)

  • High school certificate or equivalent professional training.

Skills / Competencies (please indicate requisite competencies that are qualified for the position)

  • Patience and ability to follow through.
  • Ability to read and communicate in Cantonese / Mandarin / English.
  • Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis.
  • Ability to work on overtime when needed.

  • Has flexibility in approach to work and be able to step in if and when required to assist with other tasks as may be directed by the line manager.

Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred.
