Job Description
Join Astrazeneca CET to support the AZ KK Japan Cloud Platform, which drives healthcare innovation at AstraZeneca. As a CloudOps Engineer, you’ll gain experience in cloud operations and work with technologies like MongoDB and Amazon RDS Aurora, while also assisting with cloud strategy planning. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers who will guide you in best practices, automation, observability, and cloud security. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute improvements, and make a tangible impact on the platform’s reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
経験 Experience
<必須 Mandatory>
• Experience: 4–6+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles; strong candidates with equivalent hands-on experience or internships welcome.
• AWS operations: Practical experience with AWS (EC2, RDS/Aurora, EKS, S3, CloudWatch); familiarity with IAM and VPC networking.
• Databases: Exposure to MongoDB and/or Amazon RDS Aurora operations (backups, monitoring, basic tuning, DR exercises).
• Automation: Ability to script in Python or Bash; comfortable with Git and code reviews.
• CI/CD: Experience maintaining or extending pipelines (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Troubleshooting: Solid fundamentals across cloud, networking, and containerized applications; curious and methodical problem-solver.
• Observability: Experience building dashboards and alerts; can investigate logs and metrics to support incident response.
• Collaboration: Clear communicator, eager to learn, and comfortable working with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

• FinOps: Familiarity with AWS cost tools (Cost Explorer, Savings Plans, RI planning) and tagging standards.
• Data tech: Exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Kafka in operational contexts.
• Resilience: Participation in DR planning, failover testing, or SRE reliability programs.
