We are seeking a Business Technology Manager in the Assurance Department, with an ability to be present in our New York and New Jersey Offices as needed. In this position you will play a key role in the implementation, integration and roll-out of key assurance innovation initiatives.

This is an analytical role in a fast-paced environment requiring the ideal candidate to perform effectively both as an individual and as part of a team. This role will require collaboration, focus and an ownership driven mentality.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Administration of CaseWare including administering licenses, entity creation and template management.
  • Provide Tier 2 application support for CaseWare, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution coordination.
  • Serve as the escalation point for CaseWare issues, managing defects, prioritizing enhancements, coordinating resolutions, and tracking outcomes.  
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Enterprise Technology & Information team to monitor CaseWare ticket volume, identify trends, and improve the issue management processes. 
  • Participate in the initial exploration and assessment of new assurance software tools.
  • Develop and execute test cases to assess the functionality and performance of new assurance software.
  • Develop and document formalized processes and controls around new assurance software tools.
  • Develop, maintain and update practice management tools
  • Liaison between National Office, AI and Enterprise Technology & Information 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and facilitate the resolution of gaps that have been identified in current processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience within an assurance team at a public accounting firm 

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience within a business transformation role 
  • CPA, or equivalent experience
