The Channel and Shopper Marketing Assistant Manager manage the Cambodia Modern Trade operations on channel strategy, budget management, customer strategic planning, promotion and visibility plan.

This role plays a critical part in enabling Unilever’s growth through key MT channels such as supermarkets, hypermarkets, minimarkets, and key accounts.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be:

  • Develop support plans to support each channel growth ambition.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews with key accounts and distributors to monitor performance, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Drive distribution, shelving, merchandising, and assortment targets based on Perfect Store standards.
  • Budget and spending management
  • Manage budget and track investment efficiency by providing tracking report and ROI analysis.
  • TTS & BMI Claim management and ensure 0 bypass.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making using sell-in/sell-out data and shopper insights to plan the promotion by channel strategically.
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance updates, gap analyses, and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic countermeasures.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of trade marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in business planning, forecasting, and trade promotion management.
  • Strong understanding of category management and shopper insights.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PBI and data-analysis capability.
  • Leadership & Behavioral Competencies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, and strategically driven.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working in a dynamic market environment.
