[What the role is]
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Manager for AI & Data Analytics to support the Applied Sciences Group of HSA. The candidate will primarily focus on AI/machine learning applications and data integration projects across forensic and analytical laboratories, providing advanced technical expertise and recommendations to senior management. The ideal candidate should have strong AI/ML background, data integration experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional laboratory teams.
[What you will be working on]
- To develop and deploy AI/machine learning solutions for diverse laboratory applications across forensic and analytical sciences, including but not limited to automated data interpretation, voice-to-report generation, pattern recognition, predictive modelling, and intelligent workflow optimisation, and chromatographic interpretations.
- To design and implement data integration solutions connecting LIMS data, instrument data, and external databases to create unified data ecosystems for analytical insights.
- To automate manual laboratory workflows using Python/R scripts and develop process optimisation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in routine tasks.
- To create and manage dashboards and data visualisations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, ensuring clean and structured data presentation for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- To provide centralised data analytics support to all laboratories, bridging the gap between ad hoc data analysis and systematic expertise.
- To manage cloud-based analytics data architecture and AI deployment pipelines for scalable machine learning solutions and maintain version control systems for collaborative development.
