What You Can Expect

Operational Management (On‑Site & Remote)

  • Oversee daily facility operations across multiple sites, including remote, satellite, and unmanned locations.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, ensuring all sites—even those without on‑site staff—remain operational and compliant.
  • Utilize remote monitoring tools (BMS, IoT sensors, CMMS) to track system performance and respond proactively to issues.
  • Coordinate scheduled and emergency work with regional vendors and technicians.

Remote Site Oversight

  • Conduct virtual inspections and audits for remote facilities, supplementing with periodic in‑person visits.
  • Manage access control, security systems, and critical infrastructure in remote or low‑occupancy buildings.
  • Establish protocols for remote troubleshooting, emergency response, and escalation.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories and documentation for all distributed sites.

Workplace Experience & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for site leads and end users across all locations.
  • Ensure employees at remote or lightly staffed sites receive consistent levels of support and communication.
  • Lead service delivery initiatives that enhance the employee experience, regardless of site size or occupancy.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Select, evaluate, and manage vendors capable of supporting a distributed site footprint.
  • Establish clear SLAs and performance metrics with service partners serving remote locations.
  • Ensure cost‑effective and high‑quality service delivery across all sites.

Budgeting & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for all assigned facilities.
  • Track expenses, forecast spending, and identify cost‑saving opportunities—particularly through remote monitoring and centralized service delivery.
  • Support execution of capital improvement projects across diverse site types.

Health, Safety & Risk Management

  • Implement safety programs and compliance protocols across all sites, including remote environments.
  • Conduct routine safety reviews—both in person and virtually—and ensure corrective actions are closed out.
  • Maintain emergency preparedness plans and serve as point of contact for escalations.

Project Management

  • Lead facility upgrades, system replacements, space changes, and construction projects across multiple and remote facilities.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional work with IT, Security, Real Estate, and HR teams.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise a geographically dispersed team of technicians, coordinators, or service partners.
  • Provide direction, training, and performance feedback through both in‑person and remote leadership practices.

This position is an onsite role with 25% travel required.

What We're Looking For

Oversee the operations and workplace of 2 or more locations in the regional trade area. Coordinating with vendors and service providers that support various administrative functions to provide exceptional service to the leadership team, employees, customers and guests. This role also manages logistics for workplace events, meetings, and conferences, as well as handles food and beverage services, transport management, and office events.

Expected Base Pay Range (CAD)

65,900 - 87,800, $ per annum
