Major Responsibilities:

Assessments & Insights: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments of internal and external factors to support prioritization and implementation of strategic initiatives Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and potential risks. 

  • Exhibit a strategic mindset, assimilating various information sources into coherent insights while fostering strong cross-functional collaborations, especially with leaders in finance, business development, and operations. Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to executive leadership based on the assessments, enabling informed decision-making and course corrections. 

Design and Execution: 

  • Provides leadership of cross functional, complex transformative initiatives across the organization. Partner with business unit leaders in setting vision, aspiration, and priorities, developing roadmaps, and setting up appropriate management systems for execution.  

  • Design new concepts, solutions and organizational perspectives based on project objectives Support execution of strategic initiatives by prototyping new models and recommending opportunities for scaling. 

  • Proactively communicate progress to the leadership teams (ECG, System leaders and key stakeholders) regarding the implementation and value delivered of all projects and strategies.  

  • Play a key role in the development and maintenance of methodology, approaches, toolsets, and best practices. Lead the identification of strategic and operational opportunities across the system to create superior value, service excellence and a high-performing culture in an integrated approach.  

Thought Partnership: 

  • Partner with executive leaders on high profile, confidential, complex efforts in the organization to drive change and organizational improvement. Bring forward own ideas on how to advance organizational change aligned to system needs and priorities.   

  • ​Facilitate content creation for enterprise-level executives based on current needs.  

Cross-Collaboration:  

  • Collaborate with other leaders within Enterprise Consulting Group to ensure alignment and coordination of projects and initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members, promoting cross-functional learning and best practices.  

  • Identify opportunities for synergy and efficiency across projects and workstreams. Contribute to the development and implementation of ECG’s strategic vision and objectives.  

Stakeholder Management:  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, operational leaders, and project sponsors.  

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and align project objectives with organizational goals. Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts to ensure project success.  

Change Management:  

  • Create and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of solutions and redesigned work. Provide partnership and support to site leaders and staff during the implementation process. 

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team responsible for strategic assessments, design, and execution of key initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. 

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members, promoting their growth and success. Establish performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and recognize and reward outstanding achievements. 

Minimum Job Requirements 

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters preferred 

Certification / Registration / License 

  • N/A

Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry and at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large multi-state healthcare integrated delivery system.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities 

  • Proven track record in strategic assessments, and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives. 

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, regulatory landscape, and challenges. 

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve organizational objectives. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex information, identify key insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations. 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.

  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
