Who We're Looking For
As Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager, you will play a strategic and operational role in maintaining, enhancing, and evolving the company’s established global transfer pricing and intercompany processes for approximately 40 entities in 25 jurisdictions. You will ensure that existing policies and practices remain aligned with business operations and objectives, proactively updating and optimizing them as the business evolves. You will act as a trusted advisor, develop a deep understanding of the company’s business model, and provide ongoing guidance on transfer pricing and related matters. Work will often be conducted in close coordination with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions—including regular collaboration with the United States headquarters—and external advisors to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. While the primary focus is maintaining and enhancing established frameworks, you will support the implementation of new major projects and processes as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Policy & Compliance: Maintain, enhance, and periodically update established transfer pricing policies for intercompany transactions—including goods, services, and intellectual property—ensuring continued alignment with business operations and objectives.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare, review, and manage ongoing mandatory transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reports) to meet local and international regulations, including BEPS Pillar 2 GloBE Minimum Tax data compilation.
- Financial & Economic Analysis: Conduct benchmarking studies and financial analysis to support and periodically reassess arm’s length pricing, utilizing databases to compare financial results as business operations change.
- Audit Defense & Dispute Resolution: Support tax audits by maintaining robust documentation, preparing responses to queries from tax authorities, and assisting with Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Advise on the transfer pricing implications of ongoing business changes such as restructurings, M&A, and new market entries, ensuring policies and documentation evolve as needed.
- Operational Transfer Pricing: Lead intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate calculations, booking, and testing for compliance with established policies, while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Intercompany Processes: Manage and refine intercompany financing, repatriations, optimization, and settlement activities in line with evolving business and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with tax, legal, finance, and accounting teams, as well as external advisors, to ensure consistent documentation, strategy, and communication across functions and jurisdictions.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Remain current on regulatory developments and proactively recommend updates to transfer pricing practices as required.
- Transfer Pricing Automation: Drive ongoing automation and process optimization for transfer pricing and intercompany reporting.
- Project Support: Support the implementation of new major projects and processes as directed by the Corporate tax team, ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, including regular collaboration with United States headquarters.
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant transfer pricing experience, preferably in a multinational corporate or Big Four/professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, BEPS actions (including Pillar 2), and international tax principles.
- Hands-on experience with transfer pricing documentation, CbCR, benchmarking, and audit defense.
- Experience with leveraging ERP systems (preferably SAP) to extract intercompany transaction data and support transfer pricing calculations and reporting.
- Proficient in automation and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI to streamline transfer pricing analytics, automate reporting workflows, and enhance data-driven decision making.
- Experience integrating Power BI with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to automate extraction and transformation of large datasets for transfer pricing analysis.
- Professional certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and evolve transfer pricing policies in response to business changes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Skilled in developing custom dashboards and reports to monitor intercompany transactions, benchmark results, and track compliance metrics in real time.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills through leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.
