Job Summary

Barings is seeking an Associate, Talent Acquisition to join our Global Talent Acquisition team supporting a range of back office and front office roles. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition and HR Advisory Specialist in Sydney, Australia you will serve as a consultative partner responsible for executing talent acquisition strategies to directly deliver top talent across Barings Asia Pacific.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor on all hiring and related matters.
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from initial intake through to offer management.
  • Directly attract and recruit top quality talent through all available sourcing tools e.g., job boards, social media platforms, advertising etc.
  • Create talent pools/talent pipelines for upcoming roles.
  • Engage with candidates to promote a positive candidate experience, keeping them engaged throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships internally to fully understand the needs of the business.
  • Ensure all hiring personnel are regularly updated on the status of requisitions with accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to execute recruitment strategies that further our diversity goals.
  • Maintain KPI’s and provide a high level of data integrity within reporting.
  • Understand and enforce current legislation to avoid legal challenges while serving as a consultant to all hiring personnel.
  • Proactively identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities and tactics.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and products within Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience recruiting in the asset management or financial services industry preferred.
  • Experience managing the complete recruitment lifecycle within an in-house HR function.
  • Experience working within applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing innovative direct sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with leadership and internal clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ambassador for excellent candidate experience through professional recruitment practices.
  • Experience in a global corporate environment preferred.
  • Attention to detail, results oriented, and must be a collaborative team player.
