About the team and position

We need to be super approachable and always willing to go above and beyond to help our Carvana family. It could be as simple as connecting their monitor to as complicated as tuning their flux capacitor to precisely 1.21 gigawatts! What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with vendor coordination, including tracking orders, scheduling vendor services, and updating stakeholders as needed.
  • Support the procurement process by submitting purchase requests, monitoring inventory levels, and helping with hardware replacements or new equipment orders.
  • Help document troubleshooting steps and contribute to the team knowledge base to support future issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor activity, contracts, and service performance within tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and SIGMA.
  • Process and manage assigned tickets and work orders, escalating issues to senior team members when necessary.
  • Monitor vendor service performance and report basic observations or issues to senior team members for review.
  • Promote positive communication and collaboration within the team, demonstrating company values in daily interactions.
  • Support hardware repair logistics with external vendors, ensuring timely shipment, receipt, and tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you should have

 The qualifying candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic, and must take pride in helping people solve their computer problems.

  • Responsible for analyzing vendor performance and presenting key insights, concerns and successes to leadership
  • Experience in vendor management, project management 
  • Advanced reporting and analytics skills 
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, executive level management, and external vendors. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral. 
  • Work to resolve delays and hold vendors accountable when delays do arise
  • Experience with G-Suite including Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.
  • Experience with SQL and Sigma reporting is a plus
  • Project management experience is a plus

Other requirements

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
  • Must be able to carry and transport up to 70 pounds up to 20 feet.
  • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
