About your team :

The Sales Desk Team is part of the Italian Wholesale Sales Team who are responsible for distributing Fidelity’s investment proposition to all types of clients, including; Banks, Financial Advisor Networks, Private Banks, Fund of Funds, Family Offices, Wealth Managers, Insurers.

The team covers all asset classes available from Fidelity. The team are committed to placing Fidelity as the trusted deliverer of clients’ financial goals. This entails putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, and to act in the best interest of our clients, in order for them to achieve their financial objectives. 

About your role :

The purpose of the Associate Support - Sales Desk role is to support the Distribution Sales Team in strengthening Fidelity’s relationships with intermediaries, achieving sales targets and retaining assets by proactive telesales work.

The Associate Support - Sales Desk will be responsible for directly engaging with a range of clients to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the Italian sales plan.

There will, from time to time be a requirement to attend events and maintain client relationships built from the engagement work. In addition, being part of the Sales Desk, the role will support the team in responding to client requests and preparing information, meeting material and data.

The Associate Support - Sales Desk will play an important part of delivering Sales Team performance against sales targets.

To support the Associate Support - Sales Desk in this role, an induction and ongoing training will be provided, on sales and product & Industry knowledge. The wider Italian Sales team is a collaborative team that prides itself on teamwork and helping their colleagues to learn and thrive in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote Fidelity’s Italian sales plan and specific product initiatives to a defined list of clients via telesales campaigns through both outbound and inbound calls.
  • Proactively promote Fidelity’s Italian sales events to a defined list of clients to drive attendance and follow up with attendees to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Respond efficiently to client requests for product information and be proactive to develop potential sales opportunities
  • Enter and maintain quality information on salesforce CRM.
  • Analyse the existing client base to identify opportunities to promote FIL products in support of campaigns and team sales goals.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of client base to engage in marketing and campaign activities.
  • Proactively generate ideas for enhancing sales aids and presentation material.
  • Collaborate with the wider Italian team to reach ambitious growth objectives.

We are looking for candidates with an attitude and energy that accords itself to a high-performing and results-oriented telesales role.

About you:

  • At least a three-year university degree in economics, law, banking, insurance, finance, technical or scientific disciplines + a minimum 6-month professional experience;
  • Sound understanding of the market, financial products and competitive landscape
  • Telesales experience would be a plus.
  • Sales and results driven attitude with a strong desire to make things happen. Highly motivated and energetic individual.
  • Ability to build credibility and liaise with clients (especially on the telephone). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment and understand business priorities.
  • Team worker, well organized, diligent and reliable.
  • Good practical PC skills, skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in both Italian and English.
