The Associate Supervisor - Sweeps will oversee daily operations related to inventory management, material handling, and process documentation, ensuring efficient workflow and accuracy. This role requires strong SAP and Microsoft Excel skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience with 6S methodologies. The Associate Supervisor will lead a team of operators, manage inventory processes, while ensuring full compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and track inventory levels, locations, and processing using SAP and the Sweeps system, including conducting regular cycle counts and quarterly inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Oversee material handling tasks such as processing incoming materials, managing samples (tracking, storage, expirations), and preparing materials for shipping through consolidation calculations and SAP transactions.

  • Lead the sweeps quarterly inventory process by isolating materials, verifying paperwork, adjusting SAP records, managing manual tags, and reporting status updates to stakeholders.

  • Supervise and support a team of three operators, including performance management and providing backup coverage to maintain continuous operations.

  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and company policies while implementing and sustaining 6S principles to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with small teams, 5+ years experience in operations, inventory management or materials handling.

  • Previous experience in precious metal refining, operations supervisor experience is preferred.

  • Proven experience in manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, or related fields.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with 6S or Lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Demonstrated people management and leadership abilities.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to perform detailed calculations and maintain accurate records.

  • Knowledge of and commitment to EHS regulations and best practices.


 

Pay Range:

$31.50 - $43.50

Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
