Associate Solutions Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a curious, technically fluent communicator to join our pre-sales team as an Associate Solutions Engineer. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer — helping enterprise prospects understand and experience what our platform can do.

This isn't a pure coding role, and it isn't a pure sales role. It's for someone who loves understanding how technology works and gets genuine satisfaction from making complex things feel simple. You'll build demos, write technical documentation, and work directly with our enterprise clients to bring our product to life.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain demo environments and prototypes tailored to enterprise use cases.
• Run live API demos for technical and non-technical stakeholders at prospective clients.
• Write clear, accurate technical documentation — integration guides, API walkthroughs, and how-to content — for both internal and external audiences.
• Work closely with Account Executives to prepare for enterprise sales conversations and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Translate customer requirements into working prototypes using Python scripts and API integrations.
• Field technical questions from prospects during the sales cycle and communicate product capabilities with precision.
• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to stay current on platform capabilities and feed back customer insights.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 0–2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or pre-sales role — or a strong internship in a product or SaaS company.
• Python: Hands-on working knowledge of
• SQL: Comfortable writing SQL queries to pull, filter, and present data as part of a demo or analysis.
• APIs: You've worked with REST APIs — you know what a request and response look like, you've used Postman or curl, and you can read API documentation independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain a technical concept to a non-technical audience without losing accuracy.
• Detail-oriented with a habit of documenting your work clearly and consistently.
• Eager to learn the product deeply and become a subject matter expert over time.

 

NICE TO HAVE

• Exposure to enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or a technical customer-facing role.
• Familiarity with tools like Jupyter Notebooks, GitHub, or any BI/data visualization tool.
• Experience building small internal tools or integrations — even as a personal project.
• A knack for storytelling with data — turning a query result into a compelling narrative.

 

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In your first 30 days:

•    You've onboarded onto the product, can navigate our APIs independently, and have delivered your first demo with support.

In your first 90 days:

•    You're running demos independently, have contributed to technical documentation, and have built at least one working prototype for an enterprise use case.

In your first year:

•    You're a trusted technical voice in enterprise conversations, own a library of demo environments, and are beginning to contribute product insights back to the team.
