Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT Systems Engineering team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in México city. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Associate Solutions Architect  is responsible for the engineering and support aspects of application middleware components, oversees the technical design, development and maintenance of application infrastructure components as well as maintaining engineering design standards and a stable application infrastructure environment.  Provides coordination to ensure implementation and monitoring of applications as well as analyzing and projecting long-range capacity requirements and deal with system related incidents and problems, upgrades, patching, provisioning, configuring and disaster recovery and will be required to collaborate with a variety of technical teams.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide on-call production technical support, manage critical issues, and implement change controls to ensure system stability and timely resolution.
  • Ensure application availability and reliability by performing root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans for incidents.
  • Participate in OS upgrades, application migrations, infrastructure projects, and assist with application releases.  
  • Perform routine system maintenance and health checks on RedHat/Windows servers and application environments, including security compliance and account revalidations.  
  • Support audit processes, maintain compliance reporting, and collaborate with teams to meet audit requirements.  
  • Identify and implement system and middleware enhancements, automation opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Advanced conversational English.
  • Experience in Windows and Linux server, Cloud, AWS and Azure
