The Associate Solutions Analyst supports the design and implementation of automation, data, and analytics solutions that improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making across Nanyang Business School.
Working closely with the Solutions Analyst / Architect and internal stakeholders, the role assists in analysing business processes, preparing data for analytics, developing automation workflows, and supporting the delivery of digital solutions across academic and administrative functions.
This role provides an opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in enterprise data platforms, automation technologies, and analytics within a large and complex organisational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process & Requirements Support
Assist in documenting business processes and operational workflows across academic and administrative units
Support the gathering and documentation of business and system requirements
Prepare process maps, functional documentation, and solution specifications
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements and automation
Automation & Digital Solutions
Assist in developing automation scripts, workflows, and data pipelines
Support the implementation of workflow automation, robotic process automation (RPA), or document processing solutions
Conduct testing and validation of automation solutions prior to deployment
Support monitoring and maintenance of deployed automation solutions
Data & Analytics Support
Assist in extracting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for reporting and analytics
Write SQL queries to retrieve and transform data from internal systems
Support the development of dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
Assist in maintaining datasets, data models, and reporting pipelines
Solution Delivery Support
Support the solution delivery lifecycle including documentation, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities
Assist with coordination of testing activities with stakeholders
Maintain user documentation and system guides
Provide basic support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Skills & Knowledge
Technical Skills
Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python or similar
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with data analytics and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or similar BI platforms)
Basic understanding of automation technologies or workflow tools is advantageous
