Associate Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of team deliverables, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with global teams to design, develop, and maintain platform components.
  • Contribute to software development lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Adhere to best practices in software engineering to enhance usability, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders by providing regular progress updates and status reports.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to support daily processes and identify opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to technical initiatives and innovation.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to draw clear, actionable conclusions from data and observations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in programming and software development principles.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages and technologies: o Java / Python / .NET / C# / JavaScript / SQL
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including: o Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, Debugging, Refactoring, and Design Patterns.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools and practices such as Git, Agile methodologies, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
