Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Software Engineer  to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plays a key role in implementing projects and programs in the function. Determines root cause of multi-faceted technical issues.
  • Helps the team investigate and resolve defects related to the developed software systems.
  • Oversees the quality of test activities during the release of products to production.
  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


Skills and Competencies

  • Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in the primary duties of the job family
  • Typescript/Angular experience with designing and maintaining UI/UX web-based applications
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in area of expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of general principles and practices of the functional area
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Advanced written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues
  • Proficient in developing software in one or more operating systems environment (Windows, Linux, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective time management and organizational skills


Education and Typical Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 0- 2+ years of related professional experience

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
