Associate Software Asset Management Analyst

The Associate Software Asset Management Analyst is global in scope and is dedicated to managing all infrastructure, end user, and data center software assets. The mandate for this exciting role will focus on the end-to-end lifecycle management of software assets from acquisition to retirement. The analyst will ensure that critical software asset details are accurately discovered and populated in the ServiceNow Asset Management Database (AMDB), effectively tracked, re-harvested, and all licensing terms and conditions are followed including covering end user, data center and virtual environments.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Vendor & Contract Management:
    • Software catalogue administration, Effectice License Position reports, SaaS allocation reports itemizing costs by business unit
  • Audit & Risk Management:
    • Prepare for and respond to internal and external software audits.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Develop and deliver regular reports on software usage, compliance status, and cost-saving opportunities to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software asset management or IT asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models (e.g. SaaS, perpetual, subscription).
  • Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro a must
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Shift Schedule: Night, 9pm-6am PHT
  • Amenable to work in a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL, CSAM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
