We are looking for someone who would be part of the Settlement Operations Team as an Associate, Settlement Operations, responsible for supporting Retail Money Transfers or other products business by delivering daily customer transactions reconciliation, settlement, exceptions, and discrepancies remediation functions in operations area.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Execute accurate, valid, and timely refund and settlement transactions in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support customers in issue resolution activities, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Maintain outstanding customer service quality levels by adhering to established service guidelines and best practices.
  • Ensure proper documentation by maintaining valid supporting documents for all transactions.
  • Conduct research and root cause analysis, providing recommendations to address gaps and improve operational efficiency.

Role Requirements 

  • Higher Education Diploma or equivalent in Accounting, Administration, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Communications, or similar type of degree.
  • 0-2 years of working experience from an Office, administration, customer service, accounting, or equivalent experience desired.
  • Knowledge in accounting activities like account reconciliations, journal entries, cash applications and financial reporting.
  • Must be fluent advanced in English and Spanish (B2+ in grammar and spelling) with excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate Excel and Office Package knowledge.
  • Communication skills, be open to feedback and have a process improvement mindset.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, choosing a schedule for the following hours: from 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm.
