As a scrum master, serve as a servant leader for your team(s) by ensuring teams live with agile values and principles, follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use, clear communication & helping the team to reach the goal. The responsibilities of this role include ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team.
This is a role in Huron’s Salesforce Platform team based in India and the US and collaborating with Corporate IT resources across India and the US.

Requirements:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach the team on Agile principles and practices
  • Act as a servant leader for multiple Scrum teams (at least two), ensuring effective collaboration and transparency.
  • Help with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) setup for Agile team(s)
  • Help Agile Teams manage their progress through transparent backlogs, regular updates and reporting
  • Partner with Product Owner to ensure backlog is well-groomed, prioritized and managed effectively
  • Drive visibility and transparency of dates, milestones, and dependencies across teams
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve impediments and blockers to keep teams moving efficiently.
  • Contribute to improving team processes, delivery quality, and overall effectiveness.
  • Utilize team feedback, analyze data to report key metrics such as quality, delivery rate, throughput, productivity and velocity.
  • Perform capacity planning for sprints and monitor velocity and utilization
  • Maintain a basic understanding of project deliverables and timelines to support planning and execution
  • Support adoption of best practices in Agile delivery.

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) with 3+ years of industry experience.
  • At least 1.5+ years of experience as a full time Scrum Master for multiple teams, along with hands-on experience in Agile execution.
  • Good understanding of the Agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Self-starter; ability to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communications skills.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, Scrum Alliance)
