The Team: The Revenue Operations team is a key partner to the frontline Revenue team, serving as experts on renewal execution across D&R and RVS product portfolios. Responsibilities and Impact: This role is at the heart of driving revenue within the wider Market Intelligence Revenue organization. As an Associate, Revenue Operations, you will work with multiple internal stakeholder teams and individuals to deliver successful revenue results while aligning with organizational goals. You will also:
  • Partner with senior leadership to execute our customer retention strategy, fostering strong client relationships within your designated territory, leveraging cutting-edge tools and creative solutions to drive retention.
  • Manage the end-to-end retention process, including accurate quote configuration, documentation, and billing coordination, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in contract generation for terms, pricing, and pertinent client information.
  • Obtain timely approvals from stakeholders such as Legal, Product, and Solutions Engineering to ensure compliance with internal policies and seamless renewal processing.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of renewal activities in Salesforce for accurate revenue forecasting, proactively identifying and escalating potential risks or concerns to Account Management and leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to resolve open items promptly, escalating delays as needed, and promoting the adoption of enablement tools for effective pricing, packaging, and retention strategies.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by bringing self-starter energy, flexibility, and motivation, and continuously upskill on company operations and systems to optimize effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 3+ years of professional experience in SaaS or a similar business environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels—internally and externally.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a focus on innovation and efficiency.
  • We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven commitment to excellence, solving complex challenges, and delivering results with a positive, "can do" attitude, demonstrating resourcefulness and solution-oriented adaptability.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, brings ideas to life, drives independent execution, and actively seeks ways to improve quality and generate new ideas.
  • Client-facing experience, preferably with retention & negotiation expertise, and a Sales, Support, or Enablement background.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant data management and reporting tools, effectively applying skills where output is defined.
  • English fluency.
