The Boeing Oklahoma Systems Integration teams are looking for an Associate Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health Engineer to join the C-32/C-40 Aging Aircraft Analytics (AAA) team that is part of the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers Division in Oklahoma City, OK.  

As a C-32/C-40 AAA Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a team that develops sustainment strategies for these critical national assets that are expected to operate for an additional 20 years, which may be up to 10 years after some of their commercial passenger counterparts retire.  This team performs field Reliability & Maintainability and Obsolescence activities to provide directed focus on the C-32/C-40 mission. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deeply analyze reliability, obsolescence, and sustainment data to identify opportunities to improve aircraft availability and effectiveness.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

  • Evaluate customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

  • Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture

  • Perform analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success

  • Develop, maintain and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes

  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 2+ years of experience with Systems Engineering principles

  • Experience analyzing maintenance records and identifying trends that suggest reliability issues

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a product

  • System Engineering requirements and verifications experience

  • Experience researching and identifying cost effective solutions to Diminishing Manufacturing Source/Material Shortage and Obsolescence issues on aircraft parts

  • Experience collaborating with other engineering organizations to develop obsolescence/reliability solutions

  • 2+ years of Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health experience

  • Great communications and writing skills

  • Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment

  • Experience in conducting goal-directed, hierarchical, and critical tasks analysis

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines.

Summary pay range:

Associate Levell: $85,000 – $115,000
