KELOWNA, British Columbia, Canada Full time

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

RBC Dominion Securities is a relationship-focused investment and wealth management firm that consistently ranks #1 in Canada. We are proud of our collaborative, supportive culture that enables success at every level and equips us to help our clients achieve their financial goals.

Our RBC Dominion Securities branch is home to one of the firm’s established, high-performing advisory teams — a group of dedicated professionals with a strong track record of delivering exceptional wealth management to their clients. We are looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented, and service-driven Associate to join and support this elite team.

In this role, you will be an essential pillar of the team — providing outstanding day-to-day support to our Advisors and delivering service excellence to a distinguished client base. As the primary internal and external point of contact, you will help maintain seamless operations, ensure all account administration and documentation remains accurate and compliant, and contribute meaningfully to the team’s continued success.

What Will You Do?

  • Provide exceptional, white-glove client service as a primary point of contact — responding to inquiries promptly and professionally regarding account transactions, documentation, reporting, and general requests.
  • Support the Advisor team with day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows and allowing Advisors to focus on high-value client relationships and portfolio management.
  • Maintain and manage existing client accounts, proactively tracking key dates, timelines, and follow-ups to ensure clients always feel prioritized and well looked after.
  • Assist with account administration tasks, applying your knowledge of financial services accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, keeping client files and all documentation accurate, current, and fully compliant.
  • Assist the team in welcoming and onboarding new clients, making a strong first impression that reflects the calibre of our high-performing advisory team.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for client and prospect meetings, leveraging strong organizational skills to ensure every interaction is polished and well-prepared.
  • Handle incoming communications efficiently, triaging and routing requests from clients, Advisors, and internal and external partners with professionalism.
  • Support the Advisor team through the full Wealth Management process, helping to maintain an organized audit of activities and client priorities.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must-Have

  • Experience in financial services, accounting, or a closely related field — you understand financial statements, account reconciliation, and the importance of accuracy in a regulated environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver world-class client service that is professional, warm, and personable
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business technology platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are considered a strong asset

Nice-to-Have

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) completed or in progress — considered a strong asset
  • Background in bookkeeping, tax preparation, or accounting within a financial services or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities’ systems, platforms, and procedures
  • Prior experience supporting a high-performing advisory or wealth management team
  • Exposure to wealth management planning concepts and investment account types

Compensation

Compensation for this role is competitive and will be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and expertise you bring. We recognize and reward talent that elevates our team, and we are committed to ensuring our compensation reflects the calibre of individuals who join our high-performing advisory practice.

What’s in It for You?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, think progressively, and work together to deliver trusted advice that helps our clients prosper. You will be joining a team where excellence is the standard and your contributions genuinely matter. You will also benefit from:

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses, flexible benefits, competitive compensation, and stock options where applicable
  • The opportunity to work alongside and learn from one of RBCDS’s most established and high-performing advisory teams
  • Leaders who are invested in your professional growth through coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities
  • An opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and your community
  • A dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team environment where your work is valued
  • A world-class training program in financial services to support your ongoing development

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.
