Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
The person in this position is responsible for the quality and proper functionality of Light & Wonder systems, games and products. and ensure compliance with both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education / Experience:
· 3–5 years experience in Software Testing.
· Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on technical and functional specifications.
· Own end-to-end testing of assigned products and features, including regression, system, integration, and performance testing.
· Ensure product compliance with all technical and regulatory standards.
· Analyze test outcomes to identify root causes of defects and recommend effective, data-driven solutions to prevent recurrence
· Collaborate with development, product, and external certification bodies to triage and resolve issues
· Reproduce and troubleshoot field-reported bugs.
· Test and validate hardware/firmware
· Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test activities, test data, and outcomes
· Deliver regular and ad-hoc quality reports and risk assessments
Technical Skills & Knowledge
· Strong analytical and debugging skills
· Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, )
· Experience with any test automation tools is a plus
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficient skills in MS Word and Excel.
· Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Working knowledge of communication protocols (EX: SAS or ASP or G2S or QCOM) is a plus.
· Strong documentation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in programming languages, scripting, test management tools and defect management tools will be preferred.
· Ability to work well in a dynamic environment with a diversity of professional people.
· Knowledge with prompt engineering is a plus
