Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Project Management team member to be located at our Aeronautics sector in Melbourne, FL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Operations & Integration team.
Essential Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between program management, integration, and project teams. Other duties include:
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with all functions to meet program objectives and deadlines
Project Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Track progress, identify issues, and drive actions to closure
Resource Management: Work with business area leads regarding project staffing baselines, forecasts, and allocations to inform space planning
Knowledge & Process Sharing: Update SharePoint, administer Jira & Confluence, create/maintain process documentation, and drive continuous improvement
Business Development Support: Assist with new‑business proposals and facilitation
Strategic Rhythm & Planning: Prepare status reports, maintain detailed logs, and coordinate with required stakeholders on space allocations or other resource changes
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present status updates; ensure clear communication of risks, issues, and opportunities

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of project management or related experience; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of project management or related experience
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Skilled in handling and analyzing detail-oriented data
Capable of influencing outcomes without direct supervisory authority

Experience leading projects or guiding teams to meet schedule-based goals
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
