Pediatrics DDBSKey Roles and Responsibilities:
Procure external federal funding to support an independent line of research focused on child health.
Publish peer reviewed publications and complete other activities necessary for promotion and tenure.
Participate in teaching and mentoring activities as part of the division’s educational mission.
Contribute to departmental, institutional, and professional service commitments, including committee work and participation in professional organizations.
Engage in collaborative academic and clinical scholarship within the division and across the university.

Required Qualifications:
Education: PhD, PsyD in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology with an emphasis in the care of children and families.
This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Certifications/Licenses:
Work Experience:
Completed APA accredited internship and a research oriented postdoctoral fellowship.
Research experience in health psychology/behavioral medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Experience:
Present funding or a strong potential for external grant funding as demonstrated by application materials.
Teaching experience in a medical setting.
Clinical experience.
