Job description

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated RTR (Record to Report) Team member to oversee our EMEA region operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all month-end tasks, accurate and compliant reporting as per the controller’s requirements, and maintaining a strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Month-End Close: Support in all month-end close activities are completed accurately and on time, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Reporting: Assists in Preparing and review financial reports in accordance with the controller’s requirements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Data Hygiene: Assist team in maintaining data hygiene to make financial records transformation ready and align with internal policies.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a strong technical knowledge of latest accounting principles and standards time to time.
  • Transformation: Play as a tester during various transformation initiatives, Process re-engineering and automation. 
  • Repository Management: Maintain, Co-ordinate & update Processes, J-sox narratives, internal guidelines etc. up to date.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, IT Finance to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and support audit activities as required.
  • Training and Development: Participate in all ongoing training and development opportunities along with other team members which are assigned specifically to individual and in-general to team & enhance the requisite skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified CA, or CMA (ICWAI), or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 0-1 years of experience in general accounting and reporting, financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, IFRS/ US GAAP standard.
  • Good analytical and soft skills
  • Good Team Player and lifelong learner
