The Role + Purpose:
The Associate Manager, Production supports seasonal product development from concept to production, serving as a key cross-functional liaison across Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, and R&D. This role ensures cohesive assortment building, on-time delivery, and alignment with brand aesthetic and financial targets. This role touches every stage of the product lifecycle—from seasonal calendar setup to production follow-up—requiring strong cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail.
Support seasonal product development from concept to production, collaborating with Design and Merchandising to ensure a cohesive assortment aligned with brand aesthetic and financial targets.
Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, and R&D; manage timelines, sample tracking, and vendor communications to ensure on-time delivery.
Set up and maintain seasonal Time and Action calendars; articulate deadlines to internal counterparts and support timely feedback across all cross-functional teams.
Facilitate proto, presentation, and photo sample requests alongside the Assistant Manager—including sending packages, generating tech packs, and vendor follow-up—while tracking samples to meet ETA deadlines.
Negotiate costing with vendors to hit financial targets; attend all fit sessions and follow up on cost updates resulting from fit changes; monitor production and material minimum order quantity issues; maintain production files supporting all product record keeping.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented collaborator with experience in production or product management who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Required:
2–3 years of experience in production or product management.
Knowledge of Time and Action calendars and seasonal product development processes.
Proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Suite.
Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly across cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
Experience in fashion or apparel production, particularly in a wholesale or direct-to-consumer environment.
Familiarity with vendor negotiation and costing processes is a plus, but not required.

Salary Range: $64,200.00 - $79,600.00At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
