Hi, we’re Gravie. Our mission is to improve the way people purchase and access healthcare through innovative, consumer-centric health benefit solutions that people can actually use. Our industry-changing products and services are developed and delivered by a diverse group of unique people. We encourage you to be your authentic self - we like you that way.
A Little More About The role:
We’re seeking an Associate Product Owner to help the Product Management team deliver outstanding digital experiences and drive operational excellence across our platforms. This role blends product operations, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth product delivery and efficient issue resolution.
If you’re looking to grow your career in product, this is a great opportunity to own a backlog, work closely with teams across the organization, and make an impact in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations.
You’ll take ownership of the systems, processes, and coordination that power effective product delivery—from backlog management to bug triage, deployment support, and cross-functional reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, QA, CX, and business stakeholders to build the connective tissue that keeps everything aligned and moving forward.
You will:
· Collaborate with Engineer and Product to resolve bugs, enhance user experience, and implement preventative solutions
· Support backlog management by helping prioritize, refine, and align user stories with strategic objectives
· Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria based on direction from Product Managers and feedback from stakeholders
· Perform acceptance testing to validate that features meet defined requirements
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including FAQs, user guides, SOPs, and internal knowledge bases
· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery processes—supporting sprint planning, progress tracking, and continuous improvement of rituals like backlog refinement, reporting, and bug triage.
· Coordinate cross-functional product releases, including timelines, communications, readiness tracking, and post-deployment follow-ups
· Own and evolve tooling that supports visibility and planning (e.g., Jira dashboards, Confluence spaces, release calendars)
· Support cross-functional alignment by facilitating regular syncs and sharing updates across Product, Ops, CX, Legal, and Compliance
· Continuously analyze user feedback, product trends, and system knowledge to inform process improvements and roadmap priorities.
You bring:
· 1+ years in product management, product operations, business analysis, project/program management, or a related field supporting software teams
· Strong understanding of Agile product development and how cross-functional teams deliver software
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; able to work effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
Skilled in documentation, backlog organization, and asking insightful questions to drive clarity and alignment
· Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to uncover issues, trends, and optimization opportunities.
· Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
· A systems-thinking mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for identifying gaps and solving problems
· Interest in user experience, process improvement, and product delivery
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
· Curious, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
Extra credit:
· Experience with user testing, customer discovery, or operations support
· Comfort working with data (e.g., dashboards, basic SQL, spreadsheets)
· Experience in healthtech, insurtech, or other regulated industries
· Familiarity with bug triage processes, incident management, or release management
· Prior experience standing up product ops frameworks or tooling in a scaling organization
· Previous experience at a high growth company.
