Position Overview
The Associate Product Owner LOS Product will play a key role in evolving the nCino platform as aligned to the Enterprise Lending Strategy.
What You’ll Do
The Associate Product Owner (APO) is the agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. This team member collaborates with the nCino technical team in IT to communicate the product vision, articulate and prioritize the features to be built, and ensures the agile team executes the features. In addition, the APO will provide subject matter support in a tiered platform support system - initiating, prioritizing, and tracking defect resolution work as needed.
The APO will also work in collaboration with peer Product and IT Teams to support the delivery of tightly integrated lending processes from Lead Identification to Customer Onboarding and Administration across the platform.
As the individual accumulates more experience in this APO role, the role will grow professionally in areas/ways such as: engagement with various departments across the organization to analyze existing business and operational procedures, prescribing how external / internal needs may be best met through process improvement via nCino features and functions; establishing significant or even end-to-end target user experiences via functional design user story elaboration in JIRA, and consulting with internal and external technical partners in feasibility and solution design analysis.
Product Design and Innovation: Liaise with Business Stakeholders and End Users, Enterprise nCino Loan Origination and Salesforce Product Teams, Enterprise nCino Loan Origination and Salesforce IT Teams, and additional IT partners across Wintrust to elicit and assess functional requirements and consult on platform capability enhancement and expansion.
Product Requirements Definition: Produce related project documentation to support platform capability enhancement and expansion including: business requirements in the form of JIRA user stories with related current and target state process flows / business architecture diagrams, as well as supporting user acceptance test scripts to drive business validation.
Product Testing and Validation: Execute User Acceptance Testing and report defects back to IT to resolve issues prior to implementation.
Product Roll-out and Training: Partner with nCino Product Team members and Learning & Development Partners to define custom training content, participating in end-user training sessions as the Product SME.
Product Management and Administration: Assist end users with business administration, enhancements, production issues and related projects; work with nCino Product Team members to prioritize and align business requests to the Strategic Roadmap, and escalations as required for production hot fix.
Qualifications
2-3 years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends in support of product releases
1+ years working in a financial services environment with special emphasis on coordinating business, functional requirements and/or project management across cross-functional teams, programs, or projects
1+ years of experience with the nCino LOS Platform, familiarity on the Salesforce CRM Platform in support of nCino Platform Product Delivery and Management, and/or related technical acumen preferred
1+ years working in agile software delivery
1+ years working with JIRA or similar agile tool
nCino and Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification a plus
Adept in Product Management, IT, Business Operations, Change Management processes

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $71,000-$92,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
