Includes activities across multiple areas of Finance, including Pricing, Risk Management, Tax and Treasury.
Pricing develops pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization. Determines core business costs of service in support of pricing/tariff development. Designs, implements and maintains pricing infrastructures. Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed. Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures.
Risk Management designs and implements an enterprise risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur and reporting this to the Board. Creates business continuity plans to limit risks.
Tax develops tax strategy and ensures tax compliance. Prepares and maintains tax records, returns, reports and other related materials. Develops and implements a tax strategy including ways to minimize tax liability and alleviate or reduce tax burden. Researches and interprets tax laws and regulations.
Treasury responsibilities include corporate liquidity, investments, risk management related to the company's financial activities, cash administration activities to minimize the organization's exposure to credit, interest, and foreign exchange risk. Forecasts cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment. Corporate finance structure and funding; Stakeholder relations related to external funding.
