Job Details:
This position is responsible for learning all aspects of a production facility by working closely with team members to promote a safe working environment and produce a quality product in a timely manner. The trainee will observe and learn how to ensure assigned areas are operating and producing at the highest possible capacity while maintaining high quality standards.
The role includes observing and learning how to work with Maintenance and other resources to ensure equipment is operating properly and in compliance with government regulations. The trainee will also learn to perform first aid when the nurse is not present. The trainee will assist supervisors and/or managers as needed and perform other duties as required.
Observing and learning these duties will prepare the trainee for future responsibility as a supervisor over a specific assigned area. The trainee must understand the interactions between Accounting, Human Resources, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, and Production.
