Associate Operations Manager

At Wheely, Operations is the core engine of our business. We operate a high-frequency, luxury marketplace where precision is the baseline. As an Associate Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the health of our marketplace. You will work alongside senior leadership to solve complex supply-demand challenges, optimise pricing mechanics, and ensure systemic efficiency across your market.

What You will do:

• Marketplace Optimisation: Leverage predictive forecasting to anticipate market needs and deploy tactical levers including dynamic pricing, structured chauffeur incentives, and configuration adjustments.
• Operational Analytics: Utilise advanced data analytics to perform deep-dive root-cause analysis on marketplace inefficiencies. You are expected to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations that directly influence business performance.
• Strategic Execution & Impact: Own the full execution lifecycle: from deploying localised configurations to monitoring post-launch performance. You will move beyond delivery to validate that every initiative achieves its intended business impact, iterating on tactics in real-time to ensure measurable improvements.
• Product and Operations Link: Act as the strategic link between Product and Local Operations to solve marketplace inefficiencies. You will translate local operational friction into technical requirements to further improve marketplace health and platform functionality.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Academic Excellence: A degree in a highly quantitative field (Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering) from a top-tier university;
• Quantitative Depth: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into strategic decisions. Proficiency in SQL is mandatory;
• Professional Grit & Ownership: A high-performance mindset with the tenacity to operate in a high-stakes environment. You are a “finisher” who does not stop until the objective is met, and the target is achieved;
• Problem-Solving: A track record of delivering creative, data-backed solutions to ambiguous problems;
• Communication: Exceptional skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and executive-level ownership;
• Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrated EQ with a customer-centric approach, essential for balancing marketplace mechanics with partner satisfaction;
• Ability to work from the Paris Wheely Academy (9th arrondissement) 5 days a week.
