This exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team in our Perioperative Department at the East Melbourne campus.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
In this rewarding role, you will join our Perioperative team as an ANUM within ENT, a specialised surgical stream with high-volume complex procedures including airway, sinus, laryngology, and head and neck cases.
This permanent full-time role includes flexible shift structures (10, 8, and 6-hour shifts) to support optimal work-life balance. You will be pivotal in supporting the NUM in the day-to-day operations of ENT theatres, maintaining high clinical standards, and coordinating care across a multi-disciplinary team. You will also be responsible for managing designated portfolios and leading quality improvement activities in ENT surgery.
You will be supported by an experienced perioperative leadership team that is invested in your development and success.

ABOUT YOU:
You are an outstanding perioperative nurse with a passion for ENT surgery and a desire to grow in a leadership role. You bring a compassionate, collaborative and proactive approach to your work.
Your skills will include:
Recent experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse, preferably in ENT or similar specialties
Previous experience in a senior perioperative nursing role (desirable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example
Strong time management and clinical coordination abilities
