The North Face is looking for an exceptional Associate Merchandiser to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!
The selected candidate will support the product process for the JD SMU Category to create best-in-class product and manage the Global product line through its full life cycle.
Working in close collaboration with the SMU Product Merchandising Manager on Product performance KPI’s (including sales and margin targets, product execution, and evaluation and implementation of new opportunities), as well as keeping track of and regularly updating all product related systems we are using.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Coordinate general product requests for example: market analysis, proto samples, product quality etc. for internal and external stakeholders
Assist in the realisation of seasonal product briefs as directed by the merchandisers
Support Merchandise Managers with day-to-day administration in managing the product line (lineplans, costing, forecasting, systems)
Assisting communication to the internal and external stakeholders on product, planning & market information
Obtain/collate/analyze sell in and sell through data from regions
Create seasonal sales analysis and ensure update reports are circulated to the teams
Provide support for department go-to-market presentations
Be a key contact for product design & development teams during the product development process
Assist with the European price synergy process and actively participate in any new European initiatives that may take place
Assist with adherence to seasonal critical path ensuring delivery of content at key seasonal milestones
Skills for Success
Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent experience in managing Product lifecycle
Experience in apparel environment with focus on performance/sportswear products
Experience in working with/in other European countries, across cultural boundaries
Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Team player, with strong organizational and communication skills
Able to demonstrate analytical skills
Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
Expertise in Enovia PLM is ideal
Fashion conscious with a good understanding of product and the market
A confident, energetic and proactive person with a visible passion for the product, the Brand and the activities we build products for
