Associate Manager, Technology Operations (Scrum Master) – Pune, MH

In this role you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. You will create and track project plans, bringing the right teams together to ensure deliverables are met. You will gather data and metrics to create project status documentation to show progress towards metrics and KPIs.

Role Responsibilities
 

PMO & Portfolio Governance

  • Establish and enforce project/portfolio standards (frameworks, stage gates, RACI, PM artifacts).
  • Maintain portfolio roadmap and intake, prioritization, and capacity planning.
  • Track portfolio performance (scope, schedule, cost) and ensure adherence to KPIs/SLAs.
  • Own executive reporting: dashboards, status updates, risks/issues, and benefits realization.
  • Enable resource forecasting, vendor management, and budget tracking for initiatives.
  • Drive compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements.

Scrum Master & Agile Delivery

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments, coordinate dependencies, and foster team self-management.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum, and Lean practices.
  • Maintain and socialize Agile metrics: velocity, burndown/burnup, cumulative flow, WIP.
  • Partner with Product Owners on backlog health, prioritization, and delivery goals.
  • Promote continuous improvement—experimentation, retrospectives, and actionable improvements.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Act as a bridge between leadership, PMO, Product, and engineering teams.
  • Communicate plans, risks, and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead change management activities: readiness, communications, training, adoption.
  • Align delivery outcomes with business OKRs and customer experience goals.

Risk, Quality, and Delivery Assurance

  • Maintain RAID logs; drive mitigation and escalation paths.
  • Implement quality gates, definition of done (DoD), and acceptance criteria practices.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
  • Coordinate with InfoSec/Compliance for secure delivery practices.

Role Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to non-technical and technical clients
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience leading Scrum Teams preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimum Supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible / adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft technologies (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a business/IT capacity for a company with financial industry knowledge is a plus
  • Project delivery success on collaborative efforts working with outside vendors and other business partners
  • PSM I or CSM certifications preferred
