Role Overview:

Part of the SAP Platform Team, the SAP Operations - Demand Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP-related demands, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of solutions that meet business requirements. This role acts as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, SAP platform teams, and delivery units, maintaining governance, visibility, and alignment throughout the process. This entry-level position offers a foundation for career advancement in SAP demand and delivery, release, testing management, as well as functional areas, depending on the candidate’s aspirations.

What will you do in this role:

  • Serve as the primary contact for new SAP demands, validating scope, completeness, and prioritization with stakeholders.

  • Track and manage all demands in the Demand & Delivery management tool, ensuring proper triage and backlog health.

  • Coordinate demands throughout their lifecycle, from demand intake and triage, to testing, deployment, retrofit and hypercare.

  • Ensure demand and delivery documentation is consistent with the organization’s and SDLC requirements, allowing teams to review, decide and implement according to business needs.

  • Confirm prioritization with the requester, Business Process Owner, and Support Organization Lead.

  • Facilitate collaboration between SAP Platform, S/4 Delivery, and support teams to assess impacts, coordinate delivery and retrofits and ensure smooth handovers.

  • Oversee transition from approved demand to delivery tasks, enforcing process compliance and preventing orphan tasks.

  • Monitor demand status and communicate changes in delivery dates to stakeholders.

  • Conduct backlog reviews, monitor KPIs, and maintain compliance with audit and segregation of duties requirements.

  • Provide regular updates on demand status, risks, and delivery timelines to business owners and leadership.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.

What Should you have:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.

  • 1+ years of experience in SAP demand and delivery coordination, backlog management, project management, Scrum Master or sprint planning capabilities, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.

  • Familiarity with various SAP modules (like SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.) and their functionalities are preferred. Prior experience with S/4 HANA would be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with SDLC in the pharmaceutical industry and various testing methodologies preferred.

  • Proven experience with demand and delivery management tools and frameworks (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Apptio, Apptio Target process, Service Now, others) required.

  • Proven experience in project coordination, demand planning and prioritization preferred.

  • Ability to validate requirements, manage deadlines, and mitigate risks.

  • Strong organizational skills for handling multiple demands and ensuring timely delivery.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and report to leadership.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Certifications in application management, project management and testing are preferred, such as: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Tester Certification (CAT), PMP, or other relevant certifications.
