Canadian Tire Corporation

Associate Manager, Omnichannel Analytics and Insights

Toronto, ON Full time

What you’ll do

As the Associate Manager, Omnichannel Analytics & Insights, you will act as the primary bridge between advanced analytics and business decision‑making. This role is accountable for transforming complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling stories that drive action across eCommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, and Fulfillment partners.

You will partner closely with Senior Analysts and Analysts on the team, translating their foundational data work into executive‑ready insights, recommendations, and performance narratives. While this role maintains strong analytical fluency, its core value lies in business integration, insight synthesis, and stakeholder influence rather than deep technical execution.

  • Serve as the analytics thought partner for key eCommerce and omnichannel stakeholders, deeply understanding business objectives, priorities, and challenges

  • Translate complex datasets, dashboards, and analyses into clear narratives, insights, and recommendations that inform decision‑making

  • Lead the development of executive‑level storytelling for recurring performance reporting (e.g., weekly, monthly, and peak‑event reporting such as Black Friday)

  • Synthesize inputs from multiple analysts and data sources into a single, cohesive view of performance and opportunity

  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the customer journey and omnichannel funnel

  • Guide stakeholders from “what happened” to “why it happened” and “what we should do next”

  • Partner with analytics team members to shape analysis requests, ensuring work is aligned to business outcomes and not just data outputs

  • Support intake prioritization by helping frame ambiguous business questions into actionable analytics problems

  • Influence roadmap discussions by connecting insight gaps to future data and analytics capability needs

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, confidently presenting insights and recommendations in forums ranging from working sessions to executive readouts

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field

  • 5–8 years of experience in analytics, insights, strategy, or a related role, preferably within eCommerce, retail, or omnichannel environments

  • Strong analytical literacy, with the ability to interpret and challenge data produced by others (SQL, dashboards, KPIs) without needing to build everything yourself

  • Demonstrated strength in storytelling with data turning complex analysis into concise, compelling business narratives

  • Experience partnering directly with senior business stakeholders and influencing decisions through insight

  • Proven ability to synthesize information across multiple sources, teams, and perspectives

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort tailoring messages for different audiences

  • High business curiosity and the confidence to ask “why” and “so what”

  • Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI (consumption, interpretation, and narrative framing)

  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure to loosely defined business problems

We’re always looking for great talent! In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits and retirement programs

  • Performance incentives, Continuing Education Programs

  • Other perks to support your well-being

  • Career growth opportunities and product discounts
